Our Music Director

The choir was initially led by Indra Aziz, a renowned musician and singer, and the choir was known as Pattimura Community Choir. The choir changed its name after moving to another venue.  In 2012 Indra Azizhad to leave the choir due to other commitments. However, whenever possible, Indra Aziz occasionally finds time to perform with the choir.

 

Since 2012 the choir has been led by the talented Fero Aldiansya Stefanus, a renowned Indonesian composer.

Fero was born in Jakarta on 28 March 1988.  In 2001 Fero joined the Canisius Wind Ensemble, studied brass instruments and ensemble conducting with Tony Suwandi.  He graduated from the Facuty of Music bachelor programme of Universitas Pelita Harapan, majoring in music composition with Otto Sidharta & Prof. Bernd Asmus, specialising in classical trumpet.  Fero is also a church organist, music composer, trumpet teacher and music director of Teater Koma and The Very Quiet Studio in Singapore.
